A delegation of Japanese academics and local authority officials visits KC3 offices in Kington. Accompanied by Yoshi Oyama, Lecturer at the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies at Birmingham University the group consists of Dr Mamoru Yamanata Professor of Economics & Informatics at Kumamoto University, Toru Otake Director Nishiaizu Town Information Division and Yoichiro Ito Director Nishiazu Town Policy Planning Division.

Visit is a follow up to that made 5 years ago and reflects intense interest in Japan in KC3's success as a social enterprise developing the use of IT in rural communities.

KC3 launches its latest deployment of its ACMS Content Management System!

The latest version of ACMS is completely WEB-BASED and is, hence, platform independent and can be used by anyone with access to a web browser and the Internet. ACMS is a cost-effective solution for businesses with complex content management needs.

Mangar International are the first company to benefit from KC3's newest release of its Accessible Content Management System software (ACMS). The Mangar International website is a large multi-lingual website which caters for Mangars' global multi-national needs. KC3's ACMS Content Management system allows for easy management of Mangars' foreign language sites and their content via its secure web-based system. See the Project Profile for more details. KC3 has launched a secure online Advice Resources ordering system for nextstep Centres on behalf of Ufi (University for Industry).
The nextstep information and advice service can help people get on the road to improving their career prospects by learning new skills, retraining or gaining new qualifications. nextstep offer free information on learning and work to anyone aged 20 and over. KC3 has launched Mangar International's revamped website who are a leading international designer, manufacturer and supplier of a lightweight range of rehabilitation equipment for everyday use. Their range includes bath lifts, lifting aids, bathers etc. To keep the website updated Mangar will be using a Content Management System created by KC3.

March 2006

KC3 have won a tender to supply Web services to Scottish Enterprise, Scotland's main economic development agency which has a mission to aid the success to Scottish businesses.

KC3 was present at this year's Country Living Spring Fair, Islingtion London. KC3 exhibited at the show with the Women in Rural Enterprise group as KC3 is a rural social enterprise with a large percentage of female staff.

KC3 have won a large contract to supply UFI (University for Industry) its forthcoming Next Step ordering system. UFI manages all of the UK's Learndirect Centres. We have in the past supplied UFI with its B2B online marketing material ordering system for UK Learndirect centres.

KC3 is proud to launch www.eventsinternational.co.uk and www.herefordshire-cil.com

KC3 has set up a framework agreement with 1837 Online for the provision of hosting and consultancy. 1837 have recently acquired the National Archivist genealogy website developed by KC3.
